Medizinische Universität Innsbruck partners with Universidad Azteca in certain programme.

United Kingdom:

Borough College London (BCL) located at Victoria Lodge, 61-65 Paulet Road, London SE5 9HW, UK, is a “registered body” according to British higher education law, accredited by ASIC Accreditation Service for International Colleges (13 Yarm Road, Stockton-on-tees, TS18 3NJ England), offering courses validated by “recognised bodies” with respective degree awarding authority. Universidad Azteca is among the validating universities.

Spain:

The partner university of Universidad Azteca in Spain is UCAM. Universidad Azteca and UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (Spain) signed agreements on inter-university collaboration and double degree programmes. The formal act was signed in Murcia by UCAM President José Luis Mendoza and Universidad Azteca Dean of European Programmes Gerhard Berchtold. Video stream Watch the video.

The UCAM delegation to the Azteca Dean of European Programmes was welcomed by the Vice Mayor of Innsbruck, and programmes were fine-tuned by the inter-university working groups.

Universidad Azteca and UCAM will immediately launch joint programmes, including the Master´s level Licenciado degree in Business Administration or in Psychology (Azteca) with the university degrees (título propio) Magister in Business Administration or in Coaching (UCAM).

Students get more value of their degree by the double degree option by earning two degrees from two continents, two universities in one programme.

The two study areas are available online as distance learning programmes.

Universidad Sevilla is another Spanish agreement university of Universidad Azteca.

International Programmes:

Universidad Azteca is honoured to announce the appointment of Prof. Dr. Agni Vlavianos Arvanitis, President and Founder of the Biopolitics International Organisation (10 times Nobel Peace Award nominee, Representative of Club of Rome in Greece), as Visiting Professor of the International Programmes. Universidad Azteca and the Biopolitics International Organisation (B.I.O.) will launch a new degree granting programme (Master’s and PhD) in the study area of Biopolitics/Biopolicy. The Biopolitics International Organisation offers the course material free of charge, therefore tuition for the biopolicy program is lower than tuition for non-supported regular study programmes of the university and the international network of branch campus programmes. Current, past and future students of the distance learning courses offered by B.I.O. can enroll with Universidad Azteca degree programmes.

Universidad Azteca and IOUF Intercultural Open University Foundation signed an academic cooperation agreement.

Suitable Masters graduates and, with the approval of UAZTECA, other students with a relevant prior qualification, should be given the opportunity to participate in an extra-occupational PhD programme offered jointly with UCN Universidad Central de Nicaragua internationally. Upon successful completion of the programme, the participants will be awarded the title of (Dr.) Doctor en Filosofía (PhD Doctor of Philosophy) by UAZTECA & UCN. UAZTECA is hereby validating the IOUF programme as in line with the academic requirements of the inter-university doctoral programme of UAZTECA & UCN, and is in charge of the administration and conduct of the inter-university programme on behalf of UCN as well.

The standard duration of the extra-occupational PhD programme is three years or 180 ECTS credits. However, students with advanced standing and research may study at their own pace. It is geared towards the requirements of applicable law and to UAZTECA & UCN examination regulations. The standard duration of the extra occupational PhD programme of three years applies to candidates with 300 ECTS credits as entry requirement. Other possible entry requirements will be reviewed during the admission process. The advanced duration of the extra occupational PhD programme of two years can apply to candidates with 360 ECTS credits as entry requirement. However, this does not affect the tuitions to be paid for the complete programme. The programme can be started individually at any time throughout the year. The programme is conducted in English. The doctoral thesis is also to be completed in English. The thesis supervisor is appointed by IOUF from its faculty.

During the course of the programme the participant takes part in research methodology modules and the thesis project. 60 ECTS points are acquired in these modules. 120 ECTS points are acquired in the thesis project. The modules and thesis supervision are implemented by IOUF lecturers.
